The analvzed results were as follows. The incidence of congenital anomaly babies was 3.7% (125/3353). The incidence of congenital anomaly according to the maternal age group was 6.6% in 21~25 age group, which was the highest, but there were no
statistical differences between groups. The incidence of congenital anomaly according to parity was the highest in the para 2 group (5.0%), but there were no statistical differences between group. The incidence of congenial anomaly according to
baby sex
was 3.6% in male and 39.%in female infants. The incidence of congenital anomaly in the low birth weight infants (less than 2,500 am) was 7.8% (72/923), which was significantly higher than that in the infants mola than 2,500 gm (2.2%). Vaginal
dolivery
in the congenital anomaly was performed in 84.8% and Cesarean delivery in 15.2% Antenatal detection rate of congenital anomaly was 81.6%. But antenatal detection was not done 18.4% (23 cases) such as 6 cases of cleft lip and/or palate, 4 cases of
cardiac anomaly, 5 cases of hand and/or foot anomaly, 3 cases of imperforate anus, and 5 cases of others. The incidences according to the type of congenital anomaly were 28.8% in the central nervous system, 24.0% in the digestive system, 10% in
